York Space Systems (NYSE: YSS), a U.S.-based national defense and commercial prime, today announced a definitive agreement to acquire ALL.SPACE, a leading developer of advanced satellite communications terminals and multi-network connectivity solutions. Once the deal closes, ALL.SPACE will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of York while continuing to serve its existing customer base across the broader industry.
The acquisition expands York’s reach beyond satellite manufacturing and into the terminal layer that connects platforms in the field — a move that pulls a critical piece of the communications stack in-house.
“With this acquisition, York is creating a complete communications ecosystem that operates in contested environments across commercial and government networks,” said Dirk Wallinger, CEO of York. “The addition of ALL.SPACE brings a world-class team whose proven leadership and technical excellence will be key as we scale these capabilities for our customers.”
Founded in 2019 and headquartered in the United Kingdom with operations in Europe and the United States, ALL.SPACE designed its software-defined Hydra Terminal Range to handle simultaneous multi-link, multi-orbit, and multi-band connectivity across LEO, MEO, GEO, and HEO networks. As a result, the platform delivers resilient, network-agnostic communications for platforms on the move — whether in space, in the air, on land, or at sea.
Crucially, ALL.SPACE engineered the technology to hold connectivity in dynamic and contested environments, particularly for mobile platforms operating under unpredictable conditions.
“What sets ALL.SPACE apart is their ability to ensure complex, multi-network connectivity is maintained even when systems are on the move,” said Melanie Preisser, EVP and GM of York. “They’ve built a capability that has consistently performed in real operational conditions, making them a natural fit and a powerful addition to the solutions we bring to our customers.”
Beyond the hardware, the smart terminal platform delivers turnkey, on-the-move connectivity by routing communications across multiple simultaneous pathways. In doing so, it reduces reliance on any single network and keeps links open in contested environments.
“ALL.SPACE was built to ensure connectivity doesn’t fail when it matters most,” said Paul McCarter, CEO of ALL.SPACE. “Demand is accelerating for resilient communications in complex operational environments, and our technology is proven to deliver in those conditions. Partnering with York allows us to scale that capability and deliver it to an even broader set of missions.”
Together, the two companies bring proven, complementary capabilities that give the warfighter real-time access to the information needed to operate and adapt — sharpening awareness, coordination, and mission execution across distributed operations.
The announcement also caps a stretch of momentum for York. Following its recent initial public offering, the company secured a major commercial contract in March and extended an existing program. The proposed ALL.SPACE acquisition would mark York’s second strategic acquisition since going public, reflecting steady execution against its long-term growth strategy.
Closing of the transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions, and is expected to occur in the third quarter. Jefferies LLC served as financial advisor to York, while Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP served as legal counsel.
