SEDONA, Ariz. - April 9, 2026 - PRLog -- Permian Museum announces the addition of a photo gallery of fossilized life forms from a meteorite to its free online reference book "On the Origin of Life and Biodiversity".
"Microscopic surface review of a carbonaceous chondrite revealed it was packed with fossilized life forms. The photo gallery takes you on a tour of those life forms " according to Mark Zamoyski, the book's author and museum's curator.
"Based on available reference information, the carbonaceous chondrite formed in our solar system some 4.5 Ba and eventually fell to earth around 250 - 300 Ma. A photo is included that shows the metal flecks and calcium-aluminum inclusions expected, it does attract a magnet, and its specific gravity is in the carbonaceous chondrite range.."
The photo gallery is intended as a resource for scientists and interested individuals. It provides new data for consideration, and the photos are intended for that purpose only.
The Permian Museum is a non revenue generating project and viewing the full photo gallery is free, without login, registration, or advertising, and can be viewed at: https://www.permianmuseum.com/#p9.1
