ARB IOT Lands $53 Million AI Server Contract to Power Malaysia’s Growing Data Infrastructure

Shares of ARB IOT Group Limited (ARBB) surged over 26% after the company announced a major contract win worth approximately $53 million for the supply of advanced AI server systems to Whizzl Group.

The agreement, secured through its subsidiary ARB R1 Technology, marks a major milestone in ARB IOT’s strategic expansion into AI-driven data infrastructure. Under the contract, ARB IOT will provide its proprietary ARB-222 AI servers, which are engineered to support large-scale data center operations and accelerate the development and deployment of artificial intelligence models.

The company says the AI servers will enable Whizzl Group to improve model training speeds, enhance data processing capabilities, and extract deeper operational insights across their digital platforms. The announcement positions ARB IOT as a key enabler of Malaysia’s rapidly evolving AI ecosystem.

“This contract highlights our expertise in AI infrastructure and our commitment to delivering scalable, high-impact solutions,” said CEO Dato’ Sri Liew Kok Leong, emphasizing the broader strategic value of the deal.

Beyond immediate revenue impact, the deal enhances ARB IOT’s credibility in delivering enterprise-grade AI infrastructure, and may lead to future opportunities in the growing AI and data center markets. The company also noted the agreement supports its long-term plan to drive innovation and expand its project portfolio across Southeast Asia.

ARB IOT provides integrated Internet of Things (IoT) systems and services, including turnkey deployment from design through installation and support.
